LEAD

We LEAD by…

walking in Love,

focusing on Excellence,

striving for a positive Attitude

while growing in Christ-centered Discipleship!

Love – A new command I give you:  Love one another.  As I have loved you, so you must love one another (John 13:34). Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).

Excellence – Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men (Colossians 3:23).

  • We focus on excellence by doing the right thing just because it's the right thing.
  • We provide solutions, not excuses.
  • It's okay to say no to something good to find something great.
  • We are excellent by going above and beyond, and we do our best at all times with a good attitude.

Attitude – Do everything without complaining or arguing (Philippians 2:14).  Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5).

  • We do not let our mistakes take away from our efforts or determine our attitudes.
  • “A positive attitude will have positive results because attitudes are contagious.” - Zig Ziglar

Discipleship - Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you (Matthew 28:19-20).

  • We point everyone to Jesus.
  • We disciple the students by coming alongside and walking with them in their faith to help them deepen their relationship with Jesus.
  • Students will learn and grow in their own personal relationship with Christ.

"Our goal is to lead our children to a balanced Christian life.  That type of life requires that our children first know what to believe and, then, as a result, how to live.

"Kingdom education demands that teachers know the many ways that they will influence young people.  It also requires that our children are under teachers who will teach the truth in love, knowing that how they live will have a lasting impact on those they teach.  Kingdom education is God's plan for educating future generations.  To fulfill this plan, Christian teachers and parents must know the definition of kingdom education, understand the results that come from kingdom education, and exert the proper influences on those they teach." -Glen Schultz
